Complete detailing, ceramic coating, deodorization, paint correction, headlight restoration, wheel repair, minor body work, leather repair and redye, windshield chip repair. Anything having to do with the appearance of your vehicle, call us first. If we don’t do it, we know someone good who does.
BRIEF HISTORY
Established in 1989, Detail in Progress takes pride in providing service excellence. We receive most new customers referrals and business networking meetings. When's the last time you heard of a detailing company that's been around for 30 years? We will NOT be the lowest price, but we WILL provide the best results. Additionally, Prentice is a trainer and consultant in the automotive reconditioning industry, providing assistance to hundreds of other companies from around the country and world. Bottom line, your home-town Point Loma detailer is a leading industry expert. Prentice was inducted into the IDA’s Hall of Fame in 2019. Prentice has worked on several special projects, including the Los Angeles County Fire Museum, Boeing Museum of Flight, Los Angeles Police Museum, Motorlux and Quail events during Monterey Car Week.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Prentice has resided in Point Loma since 1989. He married Donna in 1992 and their three adult children, Clinton, Cindy, and Stacey all matriculated through the Point Loma public schools. Detail in Progress is proud to support the local community, including Point Loma Summer Concerts, Correia Instrumental Music Association, and Point Loma High School Music Boosters.
