It all began with the discovery of a pair of neglected LEGO tubs online—a nostalgic journey that transported me back to the carefree days of my childhood, immersed in the joy of sorting and building. As I continued to grow my collection, I quickly saw that I could extend this delight to others. Thus began Mortarless Bricks, born from a desire to share the timeless joy of LEGO with fellow enthusiasts.
As a child, my love for LEGO was quite strong, yet like many, I eventually succumbed to the notion of being “too cool” for it. However, as an adult, I discovered that this perception couldn’t be further from the truth—well, maybe just a tad uncool, but let’s not dwell on that. I realized that not only did I relish the act of sorting and building LEGO parts and figures, but I also found it remarkably soothing. Swiftly rekindling my hobby, I reveled in the thrill of uncovering the treasures within each new box of delights.
Soon enough, it became apparent that my growing collection of extra figures, sets, and parts were going to take over, and that’s when the idea struck me: why not pass along the joy of building and collecting by connecting these items with someone else who appreciates the fun and creativity that LEGO brings?
