Weber & O’Neill was established in 2016 when Attorney Shannon O’Neill Jones purchased the existing law firm "Virginia L. Weber, Inc." from Attorney Virginia Weber Laskowitz, who was in practice for over 36 years before retiring in May 2017.
Shannon O’Neill Jones, a San Diego native, was exposed to the legal profession at an early age as she watched her father practice trust & estates law. Shannon attended San Diego State University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and in 2014 was awarded her Juris Doctorate from Thomas Jefferson School of Law.
During law school, Shannon interned for the San Diego City Attorney’s Office in several of their departments, gaining invaluable trial experience. She also interned with the San Diego Family Justice Center, obtaining temporary restraining orders for victims of domestic violence. After passing the California bar exam, Shannon was hired to work with Virginia in her Ocean Beach office for approximately a year and a half prior to Virginia’s retirement.
When Shannon is not at the office, you will find her volunteering with the Huntington’s Disease Society of America or enjoying beautiful Ocean Beach with her three step-children.
